i want to start a pin-up category.of course my first would be bettie page.everything about her screams icon. one of the things i've always found so appealing about bettie is her ability to give the camera a "girl next door" smile and in the next picture a look of "i will hurt you ,you bad little boy".its that juxtaposition that has always captured me. losing bettie this last year hurt me like losing a family member.
